The Bedford Hiking Club
offers four different
Year-round Volkswalks
in Lawrence and Monroe Counties
Each walk offers a 5k (3.1 miles) and a 10K (6.2 miles) option

Lawrence County Year-round walks: Enjoy a wooded hike at Spring Mill State Park (Mitchell, IN) or  the paved Limestone walk (Bedford, Indiana). Both walks are on the same brochure.

Monroe County Year-round walks: 
Enjoy a wooded hike, including views of Lake Monroe, on the Paynetown Walk or the paved Hoagy Carmichael Tour (downtown Bloomington, Indiana).

The start box for this walk is located at Hardees restaurant located at 16th and "O" St.
You will pass by the the above on the Bedford Limestone Walk:  A limestone house on 15th Street,  St, Vincent's Catholic Church, and a golfer carved out of Indiana Limestone in the cemetery.
